North Carolina Family Assessment Scale for Reunification (NCFAS-R)

The scale is used to determine how a family is functioning. They also may be important to determining the risk of out-of-home placement or successful reunification for a family in the context of family strengths and problems.

The NCFAS-R, in addition to the original five domains of the NCFAS (Environment, Parental Capabilities, Family Interactions, Family Safety, and Child Well-Being) adds the two domains of Caregiver/Child Ambivalence and Readiness for Reunification.
